About Event

Note: this is a beginner-level workshop. We will cover the basics of what LLMs do, explain the use of their main parameters and common prompting methods, show small snippets of LLM API calls in contexts of a chat interface in a website, and use LlamaIndex to connect our own data to the LLM agent. This workshop is NOT for people who already have experience in using LLM APIs in practice.

Learn how to supercharge your real-world or hackathon projects with Large Language Models (LLMs)! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore how to integrate generative AI models into your apps using simple APIs from HuggingFace, OpenAI, or together.ai, with minimal code. We’ll cover everything from prompt engineering to deploying a working chatbot agent in Python. By the end, you’ll walk away with a ready-to-use codebase and practical ideas to make your project or hack stand out.
