CTAC Open House: Community Day
Join Saturn’s Wish for DAY TWO of our two-day Open House celebrating the opening of the Center for Trans Art and Culture (CTAC) in Downtown Los Angeles!
This milestone marks the opening of a dedicated space for trans art, culture, creativity, and community, centering Transgender, Gender-expansive, and Intersex (TGI) Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC). Across two days, we’re welcoming community organizations, artists, cultural workers, partners, neighbors, and the broader public to experience CTAC, connect with one another, and celebrate the possibilities this space holds for TGI communities.
Community Day is a community-centered celebration welcoming artists, friends, neighbors, and the broader public to experience CTAC, participate in creative activities, enjoy performances and music, and connect with the people who make our communities thrive.
Come explore the space, meet local artists and cultural workers, and take part in a day of creativity, connection, and collective celebration. Whether you’re coming to make something, enjoy a performance, meet new people, or simply spend time in a welcoming creative environment, there’s room for you here.
Community Day activations will include:
Wheat pasting by Unapologetically Brown
Spoken word performance by Jaden Fields
DJ set by The Plant Plug LA
Charm bracelet station by CHARM GALORE
Screen printing
Come make something, connect with community, and help us celebrate the opening of CTAC!
