Lucky Knot Bag Charms
Do you love cute bag charms? Learn how to make your own using paracord with textile artist Kavi.
In this 2.5 hour workshop, you will learn a combination of macrame knots and decorative knotting techniques used in traditional Chinese and Korean decorative knotting that you will then use to design your own charm.
Class will begin with a brief history of decorative knotting, followed by demos of all the knots, and then the rest of the time will be for you to make your own customized charm.
Knots you'll learn:
🐍 snake knot
🙅🏻♀️ x knot
🪢 cobra knot
🧧 good luck knot
🦋 basic butterfly knot
All materials will be provided, including 550 paracord and a carabiner for your completed charm, which we will show you how to attach.
Absolutely no prior experience with macrame or decorative knotting is needed!
