📣💰 Money talks: reframing confidence and asking for more with Krystle McGilvery
👀 What to expect
Talking about money can feel uncomfortable - especially when it comes to owning your worth, showing your value and asking for more. Many of us tie our self-worth to our monthly income (or avoid the topic altogether), making it harder to confidently negotiate or recognise the full value we bring.
In this powerful session with behavioural finance expert and Chartered Accountant Krystle McGilvery, you’ll explore how your mindset shapes your relationship with money - and how to turn that awareness into action.
Part 1: Understand and reframe your internal beliefs around money and identity
Part 2: Know your value, own your worth, and translate it into confident conversations and strategic negotiations
Whether you’re navigating a job search, preparing for promotion, running a business or redefining your career path, this workshop will help you shift from hesitation to empowered action when it comes to money.
🎤 About your facilitator:
Krystle McGilvery is a Chartered Accountant, behavioural finance expert, and founder of NeuroFinance OS, a free system designed to support people (especially those who are neurodivergent or first-generation professionals) to feel confident about money, navigate financial systems, and advocate for themselves in work and life.
Blending over a decade of finance leadership experience with behavioural science, psychology, and inclusive design, Krystle helps individuals and organisations build financial clarity, resilience, and confidence, even in the face of overwhelm or past avoidance.
Her work is deeply personal: growing up in a creative household without financial literacy, and later navigating traditional workplaces undiagnosed as neurodivergent, she saw first-hand how many smart, capable people feel shut out of financial systems not built for how their brains work. NeuroFinance OS and her wider work aim to change that.
She speaks on topics including financial confidence, value articulation, decision-making, and the intersection of behaviour, identity, and money. Past speaking clients include the Bank of England, ITV, The Guardian, Booking.com, and Equifax. She’s been invited to Parliament four times, is a LinkedIn Top Voice, and regularly appears on podcasts and panels.
Krystle is currently writing a book for parents on raising financially confident children, and is also a visual artist and actor — using creative expression as a tool for confidence, advocacy, and joy.
