

Suns of Many Colors – Chamber Music on Governors Island (Opening Weekend Event!)
The Glass Clouds Ensemble presents a chamber music concert to kick off our summer residency on Governors Island!
Join us for a short concert of music for soprano + string quartet that encourages us to listen closely to our natural surroundings and celebrate community, featuring new works by Hannah Selin and Niyayesh Bagheri. Enjoy refreshments and spend some time exploring our beautiful residency venue, House 14 on Governors Island!
ABOUT GCE: The Glass Clouds Ensemble is a chamber music collective that performs imaginative concerts of classical & contemporary music centered on environmental themes and community partnerships. GCE is a 2026 Organization-in-Residence with Governors Island Arts, presenting free programming on weekends from May-Oct including a concert series, workshops & open rehearsals, interactive installations, and short-term artist and composer residencies.
