​What if you could run custom code and stream real-time data to your users with sub-millisecond latency right at the edge?

​Bringing application logic closer to your users changes how fast, responsive, and reliable your modern web and mobile applications can be. In this interactive, hands-on session led by Kailan Blanks (Developer Experience at Fastly), you'll go beyond traditional cloud architecture and deploy directly to Fastly Compute.

​Following a brief overview of edge computing primitives, Fastly Compute, and Fanout, you’ll dive straight into an example application - building, customizing, and deploying real-time edge features live during the workshop.

​We'll start promptly at 13:00. Please arrive a few minutes early to settle in.

​This is an interactive, hands-on workshop designed to be practical rather than theoretical.

​Please bring a fully charged laptop, as you'll be actively building, modifying, and deploying code throughout the session.

​📍 Workshop location: All Tech Open workshops take place in the Workshop Tent, located at the entrance to the Tech Open venue in the tent closest to the fountain in Kungsträdgården.
