Cozy Sundays • Daylight Savings Edition (aka no electronics)

In honor of Daylight Savings (which was first implemented during WW1 as a fuel-saving measure to reduce the need for lighting), we're doing a special ✨ no electronics session to save energy ✨

This session, we will dedicate time to being away from electronics and creating things in our notebooks, with our hands and embrace the analog.

What are some eligible activities? read, write (on paper!), draw, paint, make a boardgame, put together a puzzle, the world is your oyster.

Devices will not be permitted this session in honor of Daylight Savings.

house rules

• To enter the space, buzz Ambrook and take the stairs. If you have accessibility needs, message a host for elevator access (key fob required)

• The buzzer will be muted after 2:30, as it is quite loud. Please come on time to avoid disrupting the quiet work periods, and to ensure you can get in.

• Bring snacks or tea to share, or a suggested donation to the snack fund to continue to support cozy sundays <3

• The office has rooms, but they are not soundproof. So please refrain from taking calls during this session as there is limited phone booth availability.

• Ambrook is a shoes-off office! Wear your best socks :)

Please only RSVP if you can make it and stay the whole time.

About Cozy Sundays

We exist to support people as they work on the things that they love but struggle to make time for — this place is not for job hunting, catching up on work, sending emails, making sales pitches or networking.

We fiercely protect what makes each session special because the magic only exists when we all buy in together.

Thank you Ambrook for lending us their space. Ambrook is building the financial layer powering American industry. They are hiring across roles in engineering, growth and sales.
