About Event

We’re excited to welcome Nafis Ahmed to The Venture Walk at High Park.

Nafis is the Associate Director of Entrepreneurship at YSpace, York University, where he helps entrepreneurs turn ideas into businesses through mentorship, community building, and access to innovation resources.

With over six years at YSpace, Nafis has played an important role in supporting Toronto’s startup ecosystem, helping early-stage founders navigate the challenges of building and growing their companies. Previously, he served as Entrepreneurship Manager at YSpace and co-founded NuLens Innovation, bringing a people-first approach to innovation through design thinking and lean startup methodologies.

His experience also includes working with the Legal Innovation Zone at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), where he supported startup programming and entrepreneurship initiatives.

Passionate about making entrepreneurship more accessible, Nafis brings valuable perspectives on founder development, startup ecosystems, community building, and the importance of connecting entrepreneurs with the right resources and opportunities.

Join us for a relaxed morning walk and thoughtful conversations around entrepreneurship, startup validation, innovation, design thinking, founder support, and building meaningful companies in Toronto.
