Spend a relaxed afternoon getting creative at our Block Printing Workshop with Charkha & Loom in the heart of Antwerp. You’ll get to explore the art of hand block printing, experiment with patterns, and create something colorful and unique to take home. Whether you’re completely new to it or already enjoy working with your hands, this workshop is a fun way to slow down, play with design, and enjoy the process. We’ll guide you through the basics, share tips along the way, and make sure there’s plenty of room for your own ideas to shine. Come for the prints, stay for the good energy, and leave with a piece that feels truly your own.
The block print workshop is a glimpse into the world of Indian hand-block printing using hand carved wooden blocks, that is still practiced in many parts of India to create beautiful prints on fabrics. In this workshop, creatives would be introduced the slow-sustainable craft of hand-block, its origins, story, and significance for sustainability.

You’ll learn basic block-printing techniques while experimenting with colour, texture, and composition, guided step by step as you bring your design to life. Whether you prefer something playful, minimal, or bold, you’ll leave with a finished piece ready to carry or gift.
