AImful Futures Time Travel to the Hopeful World with AI in 2040
If you ever wanted to travel to a different time, here is your chance.
Registration is open for AImful's very first futures time travel journey.
Destination: 2040, the hopeful version of the world, the one AI helped make better.
Book your ticket soon. Our time machine carries about 20 people, and some seats were taken before registration even opened.
Date: 24 September, 18:00 - 20:00.
Cost: free, advance registration required.
Location: This is only in-person event. Our time travel machine is located in Helsinki, address will be sent to the people with tickets along with the registration approval.
We will confirm registrations on a first-come, first-served basis, but if we have a waitlist, we will prioritise members of AImful Ry in the queue for the event. Please cancel in advance if you cannot participate, to allow others on the waitlist to attend.

What to bring: curiosity, an open mind, willingness to take part and share ideas, including the ones that feel too odd for meeting rooms and official spaces, and an interest in AI and contributing to better futures. Hmm.. and we suggest you also take a little snack with you, hard to anticipate whether we'll find our usual food in that future.

Accessibility: The entrance is on the ground floor and wheelchair accessible. It leads along a short corridor into the event room. The venue has an accessible toilet. If you have any other access needs, let us know in advance.
AImful Ry is an open, independent, member-led Finnish non-profit working to ensure that AI evolves on human terms. We bring together people from different professions, communities and skill levels to improve AI literacy, explore what AI means for society and human health, and contribute to responsible and inclusive AI development, implementation and practices.
Futures Time Travel is a new initiative organised by AImful. A journey takes a group of participants into alternative futures with AI. Along the way, they discuss its place in people's lives and in society, and identify the fears, hopes, expectations, opportunities and challenges they imagine or anticipate.
