Model: The Numbers Lab
Your model is your story in numbers - it’s how investors see what you see. In this session, we’ll strip away the jargon and get straight to what your model really needs to do: make your business believable, defensible, and investable.
We’ll start by breaking down what actually matters in a fundraising model - what to show, what to simplify, and what to leave out. Then, we’ll look at how to build a model that aligns with your milestones and your raise - one that proves your plan, not just your math.
This is a working clinic. You’ll review your model live, get feedback on structure and assumptions, and learn how to talk through your numbers with confidence (even if spreadsheets aren’t your thing).
You’ll leave with:
A model that tells the story behind your business, not just your data
Clarity on what investors look for and what they ignore
The ability to explain your assumptions, projections, and use of funds clearly
Real-time edits to strengthen your model’s credibility and flow
Because a great model isn’t about being complicated - it’s about being convincing.
