CLR Summer Fellowship Speaker Series: Andy Gordon (Timaeus)

​Andrew Gordon (Timaeus) will hold a presentation+Q&A for the CLR's 2026 Summer Research Fellowship Guest Speaker series (opened up to the LISA community). He will present remotely.

Andrew holds a PhD in mathematics and works with Timaeus to understand neural networks learning dynamics and generalisation from training trajectories. For this, Andrew's work borrows methodology and intuition from physics.

Andrew will talk in more detail what perturbations and local training dynamics can tell us about models. The talk will be followed by a Q&A.
