​A poem became a zine.
The zine became a song.
Now the song unfolds live — with sound, moving image, and conversation.

​春的 · Something spring is a 10-minute interdisciplinary performance born from a poem by Akaa Ling, reimagined in song by Cottonseed, and brought to life by three musicians and a live VJ artist Five Ghost.
Through music, poetry, and visuals, the piece drifts between rebirth and distortion — asking quietly, has spring really come?

​🕰️ Program

​⭐️ 7:00 PM – Doors Open
The night begins softly — ambient sound and pre-looped visuals by the VJ set the mood.
Guests are invited to write down a single “word of spring” to contribute to a collective ritual later in the evening.

​⭐️ 7:30 PM –Main Performance
Music by Cotton Seed (Wenhui) with two guest musicians.
Live visuals by Five Ghost respond in real time.

​⭐️ 8:00 PM – Artist Talk + Q&A (45 min)
A conversation moderated by Akaa on:

• ​Art beyond words — between image and sound

• ​Transformation: zine → music → live performance

• ​The unease of spring — hope and distortion

​⭐️ 8:45 PM – Closing & Mingling (30 min)
Light tea and drinks.
Guests contribute their written “spring words” to a growing wall poem — a collective gesture of renewal.
