Join us for a high-energy 2-day hackathon where you learn all about building your own startup from scratch!
Organized by Japan Venture Academy (JVA) and DMZ Japan, this event is your gateway to solving real-world problems and launching innovative solutions — all in just one weekend.

Mentorship from startup founders, VCs, and experts.
Final pitches presented to a panel of judge.
Networking with peers, mentors, judges, and sponsors.

Please note: there will be a screening and selection process. Submitting an application does not guarantee participation.
The hackathon is limited to 65 participants, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis after screening.
On-site participation is mandatory (Tokyo) on both the days and travel expenses will not be covered for the participants.
All participants are required to complete DMZ Japan’s Launchpad Course (2–3 hours) before the hackathon. Launchpad is a free online program designed to help you systematically learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. Details and access will be shared after registration.
This event focuses on developing startup ideas and business models, rather than purely technical solutions. While it is not a coding competition, the use of technology and technical skills is welcome and highly encouraged.
Language Requirement: Conversational-level English is required.
