Lock your phone away and spend a morning capturing your journey through creativity, guided by Jeannette, an award-winning travel journalist who has explored 67 countries and is returning to Paris for a very personal full-circle moment.

Whether you're visiting Paris or living here, this is your chance to slow down, create something beautiful, and take a little piece of it home.

The Program:

Part 1 — Crafts Club at La Bonbonnière

10:00 – 10:20 | Arrive & Make Yourself at Home

10:20 – 10:30 | Introduction to the Day

Jeannette sets the tone and walks you through what's ahead.

10:30 – 11:30 | Solo Creative Time in silence

Journal, draw, collage, or create in whatever way feels right to you.

Supplies will be provided, but you can bring your own too if you'd like. No artistic skills required, just curiosity and openness.

11:30 – 12:20 | Connect & Create with Others

Chat, share, and create alongside others. A relaxed moment to meet new people, discover each other's creative process, and let the conversations flow naturally.

12:20 – 12:30 | Final Words & See You Outside for the Part 2

A gentle close before we head out into the city.

🕐 30-minute break

Grab a bite, stretch your legs, and meet us at the entrance of Jardin du Luxembourg at 13:00.

Part 2 — Travel Journaling Walk through Paris

13:00 – 14:00 | Travel Journaling Workshop

We'll wander together through the 5th arrondissement with no particular rush and nowhere else to be.

We'll chat, observe, embrace the city and then, without warning, we stop.

What do you see right now? What can you smell? What's the sound in the background you almost missed? What does this street make you feel?

Capture it however feels natural: words, a sketch, a polaroid. There's no right way to do it. Jeannette will guide you through the art of noticing, the way only a travel journalist who has done this in 67 countries knows how.

Because here's the thing: you don't have to be abroad to travel. Sometimes the most extraordinary journeys happen in the city you think you already know.

14:00 – 14:30 | Show & Tell at Jardin du Luxembourg We gather one last time to share what we captured — a sentence, a drawing, a photo, a feeling.

A slow, warm ending to an extraordinary day.

Meet Your Host — Jeannette Ceja

Jeannette Ceja is an award-winning bilingual travel journalist, television host, and global speaker with over a decade of experience covering travel across 67 countries. She has appeared as an on-air travel expert on BBC World News, Univision, ABC7 Los Angeles, Fox 11, and more, and has been published in Lonely Planet, Hispanic Executive, and Hip Latina. She holds a degree in Journalism from Belmont University and completed the Professional Producing Program at UCLA.

But here's what makes this day extra special: Jeannette started her very first travel journal as a teenager — on a family summer trip through Europe that included a stop right here in Paris. Returning now to lead this workshop is, for her, a full-circle moment. And we're so happy to be part of it. 💛
