UX/UI in the Age of AI

​Join Hack the Hood and Akeem Allen from Admit for a hands-on workshop on UX/UI in the Age of AI.

You will learn the basics of UX/UI by looking at apps and websites you use every day, then practice thinking like designers: Who is this for? What problem does it solve? How can the experience be clearer, easier, or more useful?

The workshop will also introduce two tools shaping the future of design and app-building: Figma, a design tool for creating wireframes and prototypes, and Replit, an AI-powered coding tool that can help turn ideas into working apps faster.

This session will help you build practical design skills, explore how AI is changing the creative process, and learn how to turn ideas into digital products for Hack the Town and beyond.
