Risks of Large-Scale Harms To Digital Minds (Brad Saad) + Q&A + Networking
🚀 Sentio
Sentio is an initiative building the digital minds field in London & beyond. We host the Sentio Series - fortnightly London events, each combining a talk, Q&A, and networking. Talks are from leading and emerging researchers, exploring empirical, governance and moral questions in areas such as AI consciousness, sentience, agency, and welfare. A home for those working on or interested in digital minds to gather regularly.
🎙️ Event
"Our civilisation may soon mass-produce AI moral patients. In that case, AI moral patients will join humans and non-human animals in facing large-scale risks of harm." — Brad Saad
In this event, Brad will outline these risks and a framework for evaluating them. Brad Saad is a Senior Research Fellow in Philosophy at Oxford University and a research affiliate at Cambridge Digital Minds.
