​About the Venture Summit

​Latif Peracha of M13 and Roger Ehrenberg of Game Changers Ventures launched the Annual Venture Summit 5 years ago to bring together the people shaping innovation across the University and the broader Detroit metro region. While the University of Michigan has long been one of the country's leading research institutions, they saw an opportunity to strengthen the connections between students, founders, investors, operators, researchers, alumni, and others interested in building impactful companies and ideas. The objective: to give students and the broader community an understanding of venture capital and the startup ecosystem — and hopefully inspire more students to join tech.

​And with Michigan taking on Iowa on Saturday, September 26th, it's going to be a great weekend to be in Ann Arbor.
