For our 2nd anniversary, we're taking The Link Up somewhere very special.
On October 24th, we're taking over Palau Dalmases for a night celebrating African culture, creativity, connection and community through art, conversation, networking and music.
Think museum opening meets The Link Up.

As African music, fashion, art and culture continue to influence the world, we want to ask:
Who gets to define African culture abroad?
What happens to our identities when we create outside the continent?
And as African culture becomes increasingly global — who gets to benefit from it?

Our community includes professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives, artists, founders, freelancers and people building exciting things.
But please don't let the word networking scare you.
You don't need a job title to belong here.
Students, people between jobs, people figuring life out, newcomers to Barcelona, older members of our community, people looking for opportunities, people looking for friends — you're welcome too.
And while The African Society centres African culture and the African diaspora, you don't need to be African to attend. Come with respect, curiosity and good energy.
