Oxford Hardware & Embedded Mixer
Oxford has a lot of brilliant people working on the hardware side: embedded systems, electronics, FPGAs, firmware. They don’t often end up in the same room. This mixer is about changing that.
This is a community-driven meetup for local hardware and embedded engineers. The idea is simple: get people working in the same field, in the same city, together after work to swap ideas, talk shop and build real connections. It’s not a conference, a pitch night or a recruitment drive.
🍻 An easy hour after work. No talks, no agenda. Grab a drink, meet some people and see where the conversation goes.
🔌 Whether you’re bringing up a new board, fighting a timing closure, squeezing firmware into tight memory or designing the next product, come along and compare notes with people who get it.
🛠️ Engineers, researchers and technical founders at any stage are welcome. If you build things that run on silicon, you belong here.
🤝 This is the first of many. We want to grow a lasting local network, not a one-off event.
