About Event

This is a hands-on experience designed to build both your confidence and your understanding, whether you're just starting out or looking to deepen your practice.

Understand how to care for the earth, care for people, and share resources fairly, while using design principles that guide sustainable systems..

  • Designing resilient systems for food production:
Learn how to select strong, disease-free plant material and why the combination of rootstock and scion determines tree size, resilience, and yield.

  • How to read your landscape and work with natural patterns: (such as cleft and whip grafting) and when to use each.

  • Soil health and fertility: Discover how to build living soils using composting, mulching, and natural methods that improve long-term productivity

  • Practical, low-cost techniques – Take home simple, affordable methods you can apply immediately in your own space.
