Whether you're an AI novice or a seasoned developer, this event is designed for you. Our theme, "Accelerating Innovation with AI and open source," will guide us through hands-on workshops and a thrilling hackathon. Get ready to build real-world AI applications, learn from industry experts, and make your mark on the open-source community by submitting your first (or next!) pull request for Hacktoberfest.

11 AM - 11:30 AM: Breakfast
11:30 - 12:00 Welcome & Introduction
Opening Remarks: We'll kick things off with a warm welcome. We will introduce you to the core principles of Hacktoberfest and explain why open source is so crucial for the future of technology. We'll also set the stage for our theme, exploring how open collaboration is accelerating innovation in AI.
12:00 - 12:30: Workshop 1: Building with Gradient AI
Hands-on Session: This hands-on workshop is a perfect starting point for everyone, especially those new to AI. You will be guided through a practical session on building AI applications using Gradient AI. We'll focus on how to leverage powerful open source tools and libraries to create your projects.
12:30 - 13:00: Workshop 2: AI in Open Source
Guest Speaker: A special guest from a leading tech company will share real-world applications of AI in open source projects.
13:00 - 14:00: Lunch
14:00 - 17:00 PM: Hackathon & Build Time
Facilitator: This is the core of our event! You'll have three hours to work on your AI and open source-themed projects. Whether you're fixing a bug, adding a new feature, or starting a new project, our facilitator, Najmus, and other mentors will be available to help you. This is a collaborative and supportive environment—the perfect place to make your first pull request for Hacktoberfest.
17:00 - 18:00 Judging, Presentations, & Awards
Project Showcase: Teams will present their projects to a panel of judges. We'll celebrate everyone's hard work, and the top projects will be recognized with exciting prizes and awards
Awards: Winners will be announced and recognized for their outstanding contributions.
18:00 Onwards: Networking Session
Wrap up the evening by connecting with fellow participants, mentors, and local developers over light snacks and beverages. This is an excellent opportunity to share what you've learned, get feedback on your ideas, and build lasting connections within the Karachi tech community.
