Building with Claude Code
There has not been a better time to get into coding without a CS background. However, there is also more noise than ever: new tools every week, everyone posting about agents and MCPs and workflows. It is easy to find that overwhelming and to assume you missed the moment to start.
You didn't. Coming from business or another tech background, you can build real code literacy and ship working things. That part is new.
Leonie Wagner, co-founder at Furo and a fellow Centerling with a background in physics, robotics and AI will lead the session. She has worked in tech at Google X and Jua.ai, with research stays at Stanford and MIT. Leonie will walk us through how she actually works, what setups make sense, and how to get started.
What we'll cover
Coding setup and the current best practice tech stack
How to code with Claude and agents: plan, implement, review, test
What actually belongs in a prompt
Skills, agents, dynamic workflows and co
Agent red flags: when to interrupt immediately
How fast this is all moving: ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, and what to pay attention to next
The hard bit is no longer the coding. It is the first stage: what to install, what a good setup actually looks like, how to talk to an agent so it does what you want, and when to stop it before it does something wrong. That is the hump, and this session is about getting you over it.
Expect pizza and drinks as well :)
