Small Things: Making Inks
Small Things: Making Inks
Come experiment with making inks crafted from found and natural materials. Play with different ink recipes and explore how the colours flow on the page. Follow your own curiosity, and see where these handmade inks take you!
This workshop takes place on Sept 15, and Sept 19.
Workshop facilitated by artist-educator Heather Frise.
Heather Frise is a filmmaker, visual artist and educator. Her work explores ecological imaginaries through drawing, painting, film, video, animation, and sound. She has been teaching drawing and time-based media at OCADU since 2015. Heather received the 2022-2023 OCAD U Faculty of Art Teaching Award.
Small Things: Tea, Teachings & Being Together is a series of creative workshops led by Indigenous and settler artists presented by Scadding Court Community Centre and Laboratory for Artistic Intelligence with the support of the Toronto Arts Council.
Small Things explores the connections and relationships that emerge when people make something together, when communities gather in shared space, when we slow down enough to connect and journey together.
