Outside Context

Figuring out work, together, now that AI is changing the rules.

AI is changing how we work faster than any of us can keep up with alone. Some jobs are shifting, some are disappearing, and new ones are showing up that didn’t have names a year ago.

Outside Context is a place to talk about that honestly. We meet on Sundays in Jersey City: freelancers, engineers, designers, lawyers, operators, creators and anyone else working it out in real time. We share what’s actually changed in our work, what hasn’t, and where we think it’s all going.

No panels. No pitches. No hype, no doom. Just good food and a room full of people who see the problem from a different angle than you.

The name comes from Iain M. Banks’s “Outside Context Problem”: something so new that the old rules no longer apply. We think AI is that, for work. So let’s figure it out together.
