About Event

Cities are increasingly expected to deliver climate resilience while navigating constrained budgets, aging infrastructure, and growing complexity. Yet many of the most impactful solutions already exist... the challenge is designing financing and partnership models that enable them to scale.

This New York Climate Week, join Cool Climate Collective & Climate Vine, as we convene investors, city leaders, philanthropies and ecosystem partners for a discussion on how innovative financing structures and public-private collaboration can unlock catalytic outcomes for cities, particularly for New York.

Drawing on emerging work in city outcomes and practical examples from around the world, we’ll explore:

  • New models for financing climate resilience beyond traditional procurement.

  • How blended capital and partnership design can accelerate deployment.

  • What is already working in practice and why.

  • Lessons and systems insights informed by collaborators across the resilience ecosystem, including perspectives shared by our partners from UNDRR and Dark Matter Labs.

The session is designed to be interactive, bringing together practitioners across sectors to exchange ideas, challenge assumptions, and identify opportunities for collaboration during Climate Week.
