With Harry Wang, Senior Business Analyst at Capital One and Strategic Committee Member of The Global Payments Group as moderator.

Asia-Pacific has led the world's shift in payments. Over the past decade, real-time systems, mobile wallets, QR codes and contactless cards have transformed how the region pays and gets paid, powering commerce, remittances and financial inclusion. The policy frontier is now moving from domestic adoption to cross-border interoperability. Malaysia's DuitNow and its role in ASEAN have offered a model for faster, cheaper and more accessible cross-border payments.

With AI shaping the next phase, new questions are emerging about compliance, fraud, know-your-customer (KYC) requirements and friction for users.
