​Climate Fresk Japan is happy to invite you to discover the new version of the Climate Fresk!

​クライメート・フレスク・ジャパンは、クライメート・フレスクの新バージョンをご体験いただける機会にご招待できることを嬉しく思います！

​This afternoon has something for everyone. Already a trained facilitator? Come experience Gen2 as a participant and meet fellow facilitators in Tokyo. Not a facilitator yet, or just curious about what it involves? The networking session after the workshop is a chance to talk with people who run the Climate Fresk regularly and hear about their experience firsthand.

​この午後は、どなたにとっても充実した時間となるはずです。すでに認定ファシリテーターの方は、参加者として新バージョンを体験しながら、東京のファシリテーター仲間と交流する機会です。まだファシリテーターでない方、あるいはファシリテーターという役割に興味がある方も大歓迎。ワークショップ後の交流会では、クライメート・フレスクを定期的に運営している方々と直接話し、その経験を聞くことができます。

​Four groups run in parallel: two versions of the workshop (Science Focus and Discussion Focus), each available in English and Japanese.

• ​English - Science Focus: 42 cards tracing the full causal chain of climate change. For those who want a thorough grounding in climate science.

• ​English - Discussion Focus: 27 "Essential" cards (newly released) covering the key climate science, with more time for group reflection and action planning.

• ​日本語｜サイエンス重視： 気候変動の因果連鎖を42枚のカードで全てたどります。気候科学をしっかりと理解したい方へ。

• ​日本語｜ディスカッション重視： 気候科学の要点を27枚の「エッセンシャルカード」（新リリース）で押さえ、グループでの対話とアクションプランにより多くの時間を充てます。

​4つのグループが同時進行します：ワークショップの2バージョン（サイエンス重視とディスカッション重視）が、それぞれ英語と日本語で実施されます。（セッションの説明は上記をご参照ください。）

• ​Capacity: 28 (7 per group) / 定員：28名（各グループ7名）

• ​Recommended age: 15+ / 推奨年齢：15歳以上

• ​Free to attend. An optional tip for the facilitators is available when you register. / 参加費無料。登録時にファシリテーターへのチップ（任意）をお支払いいただけます。

• ​At the venue, we ask all participants to order at least one drink from Communita Café, which is kindly hosting this event at no charge. / 会場では、無償でスペースを提供してくださっているCommunita Caféにて、お一人様につき1ドリンクのご注文をお願いしております。

• ​Please only register if you're confident you can make it: the workshop is designed around a specific group size and every seat counts. / ご参加いただける見込みがある方のみご登録ください。ワークショップはグループの人数に合わせて設計されており、すべての席が大切です。

​What is the Climate Fresk? / クライメート・フレスクとは？

​The Climate Fresk is a collaborative, card-based workshop built on IPCC science. In three hours, participants work together to map the causes and consequences of climate change, connecting cards into a coherent picture of the climate system. Originally created in France, it has now reached over 160 countries and more than 2.3 million participants worldwide.

​Generation 2 takes that foundation further, developing three qualities in participants: lucidity on the climate situation, optimism grounded in what the IPCC shows is possible, and a concrete action plan to take away. If you experienced the original workshop, you'll notice a stronger focus on solutions and a new action-planning method, the "Steps to Empowerment", that has been generating a lot of enthusiasm in the global facilitator community.

​クライメート・フレスクは、IPCCの科学的知見をもとにした、カードを使った参加型ワークショップです。3時間で、参加者がグループとなり気候変動の原因と影響を繋ぎ合わせ、気候システムの全体像を描き出します。フランスで生まれたこのワークショップは、現在160カ国以上、累計230万人以上に届いています。

​第2世代は、その基盤をさらに発展させています。参加者の中に「明晰さ」「楽観性」「行動力」の3つを育てることを目指し、解決策への強い焦点と、世界のファシリテーターコミュニティで大きな反響を呼んでいる新しいアクションプランニング手法「エンパワーメントへのステップ」が加わっています。
