Africa Deep Tech Challenge 2026 #LapTopLLMChallenge Finals Pitch Day
Come and see the finalists from across Africa pitch for a chance to win $16K+ in prizes! A celebration of frontier tech in Africa
Join us for the culmination of the Africa Deep Tech Challenge 2026 ! After months of building, iterating, and refining, our top finalists will pitch their groundbreaking projects live to a panel of expert judges. These innovators have been selected for their ability to create breakthrough technology that thrives under the continent's unique resource constraints.
Africa Deep Tech Challenge 2026 (inspired by the Enzi Prize) is an engineering-first competition to make useful language-model applications run well on the computers Africans already own: mid- and low-end commodity laptops. We are not building for exotic edge silicon. We are building for the 8 GB laptop with integrated graphics - the machine sitting on millions of desks, in classrooms, clinics, and corner shops across the continent.
