About Event

Join us for the Digital Trade roundtable hosted by the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy (FMCIDE) on the sidelines of the 80th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA80).

The roundtable will focus on enabling African startups to scale seamlessly across borders by addressing regulatory fragmentation and limited frameworks.

Co-hosted by Nigeria and the AfCFTA Secretariat, it will convene founders, policymakers, and investors to explore practical solutions that advance digital trade, localise innovation, and foster inclusive growth.

By spotlighting startup experiences and AfCFTA’s emerging digital protocols, the session aims to build momentum for scalable intra-African trade and innovation.
