Origin: Co-Designing together a certification framework for human creativity in GenAI
Join UCL Co-Design Lab & CVAN London for a hands-on Workshop, taking place during KQ Social: Data in the City.
This hands-on co-design workshop is designed as a knowledge exchange event on how we think about ‘accountability and transparency’ in the bigger picture of how we ‘guard and cultivate’ the creative industry in this age of GenAI.
Origin is a fun and playful workshop, designed for data and AI practitioners, business and industry, charity organisations, policy and government along with art-based organisations.

The workshop is based on an AHRC seed funded project which used co-design based creative practices as a research method with artists and creative intermediaries as part of systems approach to envision their current attitudes, hopes, fears and challenges of using AI, as well as having their work used as part of machine learning.
Using “out of the box” methods (like exquisite corpse for storytelling exercises) as part of this workshop, we'll explore the audience's views. The workshop outputs will then be exhibited with the project resources at The Gallery, Willesden Green Library.
