The AAIF Community Presents: Open Source, AI e Sovranità Digitale: dall'infrastruttura agli agenti
Agenda
18:30 Accoglienza e registrazione
19:00 Benvenuto e introduzione
19:10 Marco D'Angelo (Radixia): The Other Linux: Digital Sovereignty in the Age of AI. Linux is at the foundation of modern cloud computing, high-performance computing and artificial intelligence. This session explores three Linux ecosystems — openEuler from China, Microsoft's Azure Linux, and Rocky Linux in HPC — and the forces, governance models and technological autonomy behind them, and why these choices matter for sovereign AI infrastructure.
19:40 Luca Bianchi, AAIF community event organizer: The Open Agent Stack: Digital Sovereignty from Infrastructure to Agents. Sovereign infrastructure is only half the story. Once AI agents start calling tools, talking to each other and running code, control depends on the protocols and runtimes they use. This talk climbs from the open OS layer up to agents through the open standards hosted by the Agentic AI Foundation (Linux Foundation): Model Context Protocol and Agent2Agent for connecting agents to tools and to each other, AGENTS.md and Agent Skills for portable agent instructions, and Goose as an open source agent that works with any LLM. The goal is to build agents that stay portable across models and vendors, with full control over data and architecture.
