Qatom: Demo & Tutorial
Qatom: Demo & Tutorial
Friday, October 9 · 5:30–7:00 PM Lima (GMT-5) · 6:30–8:00 PM ET · Google Meet
Qatom turns your APIs, data and services into storefronts that AI agents can find, order from and pay for. In this session we build one from nothing, on screen, and take a real paid transaction end to end.
What we cover
Turning an API endpoint into a catalog item, with pricing and a machine-readable contract
A live paid call, settled in under a second at 0% platform fees
The audit trail, and what a verifiable record of an agent transaction actually looks like
Live Q&A with Hassan Khan, CEO of Qatom
The last stretch is open questions. Bring the hard ones: pricing models, custody, what breaks at volume, how this sits next to the rails you already run.
Why this exists
A card rail charges roughly 2.9% plus 30 cents. On a $0.001 API call, that fee is thirty thousand percent of the transaction. The rails built for shopping carts were never going to serve the API economy. This session is the working demonstration of what replaces them.
A pre-event for Hack the Andes
Qatom is the agentic commerce rail for Hack the Andes, the Crafter Station hackathon in Lima on 17 and 18 October. Every participant starts with six months of Qatom Max free. First place takes twelve months of Max, second and third take seven. If you are building there, this session saves you the first six hours.
