About Event

This SFDR 2.0 event, hosted by MEPs Gerbrandy, Wolters, Niedermayer, and Peter-Hansen, will give MEPs and their teams a chance to hear directly from the European investors who will implement the revised Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation. The panel will run from 12.30-14.00 CEST.

The panel will be followed by a Q&A and open discussion. Panellists include:

  • Eric Christian Pedersen, Head of Responsible Investments, Nordea Asset Management

  • Piet Klop, Director of Strategic relations, PGGM, pension investor in the Netherlands

  • Louise Schreiber, Head of the Sustainability research on listed assets, Mirova

  • Piotr Dmuchowski, Asset management CEO and CIO at Poland Development Fund asset management

  • Julia Symon, Head of Research & Advocacy, Finance Watch

The panel will look at how the proposed changes to the SFDR will potentially affect the sustainable investment market. It will be an opportunity to discuss practical legislative details, such as criteria workability and exclusion clauses, to understand how the rules will work in practice. Speakers will discuss how to ensure new categories are technically workable for the industry and clear for everyday savers. Additional representatives from European fund managers will also be present in the audience to share their perspectives and enrich the discussion.
