What is this?
A closed-door founders brunch bringing together 30 of Vietnam's most ambitious AI founders for an intimate, seated session with the OpenAI team — one seat per company, no exceptions.
Just a curated table of founders actively building with AI, the OpenAI team in the room, and a shared brunch to go deep.
Joining us from OpenAI are Thomas Jeng (APAC Startup Leads), Sun Weiran (Solution Architect, Startups) and Tyler Ryu (AI Deployment Engineer, Codex) actively working with the startup ecosystem across the region.
Alongside the founders and OpenAI team, we will be hosting a select group of corporate innovation leaders from GenAI Fund's network — heads of innovation, chief digital officers, and transformation leads from some of the region's most prominent enterprises. The conversations that start here don't end at the table.
What is this for?
Vietnam has one of the most exciting pools of AI builders in Southeast Asia. The goal of The Codex Table is simple — bring the most active ones into the same room, and drive the ecosystem forward together.
With the backing of players like OpenAI and GenAI Fund, this is a rare moment where the people building the tools and the people funding the ecosystem sit down with the founders who are actually shipping — to share, exchange, and collectively raise the bar for what AI in Vietnam can become.
Going around the table, each founder takes a few minutes to share what they're building — the product, the problem, how AI is at the core of it. Think of it as showing your work to a room full of peers who get it.
Thomas, Sun Weiran and Tyler are seated with you throughout — listening, engaging, and offering real perspective from the team that builds the tools you're using every day. Founders building with Codex are encouraged to show it in action, but the conversation is open to wherever your AI journey is right now.
