​The Finding the good in defence tech project led to a policy white paper and a first-of-its-kind due diligence framework for dual-use and deep technologies. The goal of the project was to enable venture capital investors and asset owners to embed environmental, social and governance risks and opportunities into their decision-making when investing in dual-use and defence tech companies. Signe Kossmann will discuss the trade offs and complexities involved in this work and what can be learnt from the case of defence tech.
