Join us at Present Practice for an evening of movement, connection, and deep presence. We’ll begin with a heart-opening cacao from Caúa, setting intention in community and gently awakening the body and senses. From there, we’ll transition into an expansive ecstatic dance journey—an open, free-form movement experience where there are no steps to follow and no choreography, just an invitation to move your body in whatever way feels authentic and alive. DJ Latebloomer (Danny Pakta) will be curating the musical arc of the evening, weaving rhythms and textures that build and ebb in waves—inviting both catharsis and celebration on the dance floor.
What to Expect
We’ll honor the traditional agreements of ecstatic dance, creating a space rooted in consent and respect. Please ask for clear permission before dancing with others, and listen for a wholehearted yes. Come as you are—barefoot, comfortable, and open. We’ll close with a grounding meditation to integrate the experience, leaving you centered, connected, and alive.
