Field Trip to Dave Worm
Remember our Downbeat field trip back in April? Monday, June 15 is another opportunity for cross pollination!
All the Downbeat facilitators will be out of town, but no need to miss your weekly dose of vocal improv -- Dave Worm and Voices are happy to welcome anyone from the Downbeat community who's interested in joining their circle in Oakland that evening.
(Voices will be prepping for a gig in San Jose Sunday evening, June 21 and Downbeat folks are invited to join Voices for that too.)
Come experience the facilitation of local circle singing legend David Worm...and maybe try your hand at leading!

Please arrive between 6:45 and 7pm to settle in and enjoy an optional vocal jam in the stairwell. (Amazing acoustics!) We'll start our circle around 7pm, and wrap up by around 9pm.

Enter the parking lot from Fairmount Ave (driveway is at the bend in the road), and you'll see the entrance to the right.

David Worm is a local luminary of vocal improvisation, and has been laying the foundation for the Bay Area (and global) vocal improv scene for decades! Anyone who has inspired you on your own vocal improv journey has probably performed, toured and/or studied with Dave at some point. His vocal percussion skills can take any circle to a whole new level, and we are lucky to learn from him.
