About Event

AI is advancing fast, and frontier models are built almost exclusively in the US and China. Europe has strengths of its own: strong research, large public supercomputers, and the world's first comprehensive AI law. A panel discussion on how Europe can keep pace with AI development, and how it can use its position to make AI safer.

What to expect
Our panelists bring perspectives from frontier AI development, AI safety, EU policy and strategic foresight. They'll discuss where Europe stands in the global AI race, where the technology is heading, and what role Europe could play in making advanced AI systems safe. The discussion is followed by an audience Q&A.
