

Mughal Fresco inspired Painting Workshop (Online)
This is a 5 day -day workshop that also requires participants to complete some painting practice and progress at home between sessions. While every step is demonstrated live during class, recordings will not be provided, so attendance is essential. One hour will be on Google meet and one hour for real life application
Day 1:
• Introduction to the transfer and tracing methods
• Painting the jharoka and its upper border
Day 2:
• Understanding paints and colour application
• Brush handling, application techniques, and brush strokes
• Painting solid base colours
Day 3:
• Painting the stems and leaves
Day 4:
• practice detailing, shading, and finishing techniques
Day 5
Finish detailing

Materials List
One A3 tracing sheet print of the reference image
One A3 MDF /wooden sheet
Paints (gouache, acrylic, or chalk paint—whichever is most convenient)
Suggested colours:
Tea rose pink
Burgundy
Ink navy blue
White
Beige (optional)
Olive green
Dark green *Mustard
White chalk
Black pen
Paper (for practice/sketching)
Set of detailing brushes
Size 2 round brush
One large flat brush (for backgrounds)
A small amount of tape
