Democracy Club UK election data evening

​English and Welsh local and devolved elections are being held on 7 May 2026. Democracy Club is a Community Interest Company that, with the help of volunteers across the country, maintains the only open database of UK election candidates. This data is used to power lots of election information sites such as whocanivotefor.co.uk.

​The candidates for the election will be published on 9 April 2026. Come along and help us collect and enter this information into our database. You don't need advanced tech skills to take part - all will be explained during the event.

​This is a non-partisan event for anyone interested in UK elections, civic tech, and open data. It will begin at 4pm and run all evening, feel free to turn up whenever you like. All you'll need to bring is yourself and a laptop. Food will be provided for those arriving before 6pm.
