About Event

Barely a week goes by without another headline: "Company X cuts staff, cites AI." It's become almost reflexive at this point, a timely, convenient reason for headcount reduction that's hard to argue with.

Not every business leader is using AI as a cover for layoffs. Some are genuinely rethinking how work gets done, maintaining or even growing productivity with leaner teams, restructuring roles, and raising the bar for new hires. That's a real and legitimate pursuit.

There's an option you're hearing less about: some companies are using AI to re-imagine their workforce, not shrink it. Same headcount. Retrained staff. More output, better margins, and new revenue possibilities that weren't there before.

In this live event, we’re going to dig into both paths.

What we’ll discuss

AI is making it faster and cheaper to replace roles without considering retraining people, and it's changing what roles look like and which skills matter. This live event provides leaders and executives with:

  • A practical framework for deciding when to replace staff

  • When to consider retraining existing employees

  • When to hire new talent for new or restructured roles

  • How to build a workforce strategy that doesn't cost you culture, institutional knowledge, or the people who got you this far

Who should attend

This live event is for business owners, executives, department heads, and HR professionals in organizations and markets being impacted by AI (which is most of them).
