Silent Reading Club @ Alter Botanischer Garten
“There is a seesaw oscillation between materialistic concerns on the one hand and prosocial values like empathy, generosity, and cooperation on the other: the more the former are elevated, the lower the latter descend.”
— Gabor Maté
Silent Reading Club is a gathering for people who enjoy reading together in public. All books and all readers are welcome.
Bring whatever you’re currently reading; a novel, poetry collection, essay, comic, academic text, e-reader, or anything else you’d like to spend a quiet hour with.
We’re building a small community of readers, thinkers, and quietly curious people in Tübingen; people who value depth, presence, and shared silence.
Please RSVP “yes” only if you’re planning to come, so we have a realistic idea of the group size.
📍 Location
Genius des Ruhms - Hölderlindenkmal, Alter Botanischer Garten, Tübingen
We’ll be just across the monument Genius des Ruhms. You can get last minute details if you check in.

Please be mindful of the space around us and don’t leave any trash behind 🙂
