Starter Company Plus Information Session (Option 2)- Grow Stream
Are you an existing business owner in Mississauga looking to GROW your business? Now is your chance to join Starter Company Plus - Grow Stream!
This mandatory information session will provide an overview of Mississauga's 2026 Starter Company Plus - Grow Stream, eligibility requirements, timeline, and how to apply.
The Grow Stream is a 4-month program for Mississauga business owners already operating a business and are ready to sharpen their business strategy, improve operations, and prepare for next-level growth. Funded by the Province of Ontario, this free program equips participants with the tools, mentorship, training, and support needed to build a sustainable business.
Starter Company Plus - Grow Stream offers:
Weekly training sessions and/or mentorship (up to 4 hours/week)
Access to experienced entrepreneurs, industry experts, and business advisors Support with developing a business plan and growth strategy
Build meaningful connections with fellow entrepreneurs and expand your professional network
Opportunity to apply for up to $5,000 in funding
Program Details
The Grow Stream runs from September to December 2026.
Most mandatory training sessions will take place in-person at IDEA Square One (100 City Centre Drive, Mississauga).
Attendance at all required training and mentorship sessions is mandatory to remain eligible for the program grant application.
Participants applying for the grant will be required to submit a comprehensive business plan as outined by the Mississauga Business Entrepreneur Centre (MBEC).
Completion of the program and submission of a grant application does not guarantee funding approval.
Selected grant recipients will continue monthly mentorship meetings until the end of March 2027.
