In the real world, unlike the cool tutorials, you get a (partially messy) Figma design that needs to be implemented into an existing codebase. In this talk, we’ll take a close look at MCP (Model Context Protocol) - integrations between tools and workflows. We’ll see how Figma MCP can be introduced into a real React codebase, what best practices make it successful, and how we applied it in our own work. The result is a workflow that makes design-to-code more reliable, reducing development time while keeping high UX standards.

But what if I told you that you could build something just like it yourself, in just a few dozen lines of code, with no external dependencies, and full control over how it works?
In this talk, we’ll go behind the scenes of Zustand and explore:
How the subscribe/notify pattern lets only the components that care re-render.
How to use
useSyncExternalStoreto create efficient global state without touching Context.How to add support for selectors, shallow comparison, and even deep equality checks — just like a “real” state management library.
And finally, how to wrap it all up in a simple custom hook you’ll want to take to every project.
