PLUTO Musicians Social & Kick-Off Jam
Come hang out, meet fellow musicians, and make some noise with the PLUTO community!
PLUTO is nearly one year old, and there are so many cool cats in this big, beautiful zoo 🐆🦓🦒
This is a chance to get all you musician-types in the same room, get to know who's who and kick off a good ol' fashioned jam.
Whether you're a seasoned musician, just starting out, or you've never played an instrument and simply love listening to music ~ come for the vibes ~
What to bring (if you have/use):
Your instrument + any necessary cables/jacks
An amp (plug-in or battery-powered)
Any other gear you'd like to jam with
Load-In & Sound Check is from 12:15–12:45PM. If you need a sound check for your setup, go for it, but let's keep it quick so we can get started by 1:00. Where possible, we'll prioritize a simple acoustic/unplugged setup. There will be some amps, a sound board, a few microphones, congas and a cajón available.
This is not an open mic.
It's a social jam. Come to play, collaborate, experiment, or just listen.
We'll kick things off with a few words from Hugo, who'll facilitate/MC the session and help steer us in a groovy direction.
PLUTO members and their guests only for this first edition. Next edition will open up to the public.
