About Event

London is a financial capital. Can it be THE financial capital of Web3?

Web3 builders are leaving the UK - and not because of the weather.

Between the FCA’s heavy-handed marketing rules, unclear regulatory frameworks, and impossible banking relationships, operating here has become an uphill battle.
As a result innovation and investment are going elsewhere, leaving the UK’s ambitions of becoming a “global crypto hub” hanging in the balance.

Join CryptoMondays London as we dig into the tension between regulation and innovation, and ask what it’ll take to “build back Britain” as a home for Web3.

🎙️ Featuring Lisa Cameron (former MP, UK Parliament’s Crypto & Digital Assets All-Party Group) on the evolving UK and US regulatory landscapes.
Then, a live panel discussion will bring together policy leaders, founders, and investors to explore what practical steps could make the UK a place where builders actually want to stay (speakers to be announced soon).

Even Lou Kerner, founder of CryptoMondays Global - the original degen diplomat himself - will be in the house.

Expect candid takes, policy meets community, and a high-signal conversation about what the UK needs to get right, before its builders all book one-way flights.

As always, drinks, networking, and proof-of-community included 🍻

🎙️ Format

  • 10-min keynote: Lisa Cameron discusses UK x US: Aligning on the Future of Digital Assets: Dr. Lisa Cameron will discuss how the UK and US are aligning on digital assets and emerging tech, and why Web3 innovation is key to the UK’s growth agenda.

  • Panel discussion: Bridging Policy and Innovation (speakers TBA)

  • Networking opportunities
