Volunteering Untapped NYC: Love for Elders & Cardz for Kidz (April Event)
Volunteering Untapped NYC is on a mission to build community through volunteering. We host events every month on the second Saturday and partner with local organizations around the city.
This month, we’re offering two meaningful ways to give back, and you can choose whichever resonates most with you:
💌 Love for Elders
Write uplifting, heartfelt letters to individuals going through difficult times. We’ll provide their names and a bit about them (shared by loved ones), and your words will be bundled together and mailed to brighten their day.
🎨 Cards for Hospitalized Kids
Create cheerful, handmade cards for children in hospitals. These will be collected and sent to a central organization for distribution to kids who could use a little extra joy.
We’ll be hosting this event at The Waylon, so feel free to come hungry 😋
Afterwards, we’ll stay to socialize over food and drinks!
About the Organizations

Cards for Hospitalized Kids

Socials
Volunteering Untapped socials are an optional way to further socialize with other volunteers; we encourage everyone to come out to the social! Food and drinks will be available to purchase at the restaurant.
