About Event
Aryan Bhatt is a Member of Technical Staff at Redwood Research, where he leads work on high-stakes AI control. He studied Math and Computer Science at Hunter College (CUNY) and participated in the MATS program in Winter 2023. His research focuses on AI safety, security, and control, with an emphasis on preventing catastrophic failures in advanced AI systems. He has co-authored several papers on control methods, including agent control via resampling, and contributes to Redwood’s broader research on AI control protocols. Aryan will be speaking about AI control and its importance for technical AI safety.
