Thomas Gustinis is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with over 20 years of experience across banking, finance, and AI-driven digital transformation. As Co-Founder & CEO of 4th-IR, he leads the company’s vision of building the Virtual Workforce of the Future - an operating model where AI-powered Virtual Personas augment and transform human work across global enterprises.
With a professional background as CFO and COO in the banking sector, Thomas brings deep expertise in financial regulation, risk management, governance, and large-scale operating models. This foundation uniquely positions him to bridge enterprise realities with cutting-edge AI, ensuring that Virtual Workforces are not only powerful, but trusted, auditable, and compliant by design.
Thomas is a recipient of the Swiss Tell Award and Entrepreneur of the Year (Michigan). He co-founded LAC2, an initiative accelerating AI adoption in Switzerland, and participates in NVIDIA’s Inception Program. He holds an Executive MBA from London Business School and Columbia University, a BSc in Accounting, and is a Certified Public Accountant (New York).
Born in Princeton, New Jersey, Thomas now resides in Zug, Switzerland, where he continues to shape the future of work—driving a global shift toward AI-enabled Virtual Workforces that combine technology, trust, and human potential.
